The historic Mayowood estate is one of the most beautiful spots to see in Olmsted County. The History Center of Olmsted County, alongside the Mayo Clinic, offers tours of this gorgeous estate March through December.
Mayowood is home to many unique events as well, including stunning Christmas tours that you will never forget.

Children Under 3 are Not Recommended for the tour.
Walk-ins are welcome if tours are not full and must be paid by cash only.

Important Notes for Your Mayowood Visit
- Photography is not permitted inside the home, but outdoor photos are encouraged. NOTE: Outdoor photos for events (prom, homecoming, wedding, engagement, etc.) are not permitted.
- All Mayowood tours are conducted by professional tour guides and tours last approximately one hour.
- Groups of 20 or more may call 507-282-9447 or email mayowood@olmstedhistory.com for group pricing and guidelines.
- Mayowood is privately owned by Mayo Clinic and is closed to the general public on non-tour days.
